As someone who has also currently been writing a lot and has had a pretty solid writing method for a long time, the thing you said about focusing on writing out the full draft, no editing/rereading before you're done is 100% what I do and has been super successful for me. The only time I reread is when 1) refreshing myself on the last sentence or two I wrote before starting a new writing session and 2) finding a location in which i forgot to add a detail/wanted to insert an additional scene. But sometimes I dont even do that I just note like "move this to section where X happens" and keep writing lol But also that story of the people buying THREE FULL CARTS of stuff oh my gosh that poor cashier 😫

Congrats on hitting 10K!! 🎉🎉 and I’m glad you had such a great writing day! I got one great day with 1,037 words a day, which was so great~! (I’m kinda working in 2-3 stories from time to time, but trying to hopefully focus on my main one😂 which I have the whole plot points done, just need to get them in draft 1(currently on pre-midpoint on my main story)🙏🏼) Hope you get your coffee better now~ it’s so important for us coffee girls~🧋☕️🩵

goodness, I have the hardest time turning off the critical part of my brain and just letting the words flow, but that’s what I’ve been trying to do! otherwise, I won’t have anything to work with as I painstakingly fuss with every sentence and concept 😅 I actually have a feeling that I’m going to love revising because that’s when I’ll tie it all up and make it pretty.
