I understand Cody and his channel have a vibe to it, all channels do, but the stuff in these clips is genuinely so incredibly terrifying. The reason this makes you uncomfortable is because it's literally glorifying and normalizing sexual harrassment. Specifically of women. It also pushes toxic ideas like sexual conversations automatically equating to the answerer wanting to have sex with the asker. Plus the audience of these videos is impressionable. No sex before marriage applies only to virgins if you are not a virgin a guy with serius intentions of any kind should see that as an insult and leave immediately.
@horacethecheese10093 жыл бұрын
@@deltaxcd I see no reason no sex before marriage should only apply to virgins. It's not like all vegans never consumed animal products before in their life. If anything, you'd think the person would be more sure of their decision, if they have already tried the thing they want to give up. Plus being insulted as a reaction (walk away, fine, but be insulted by a person's choice that has nothing to do with you?) in my opinion only indicates the severity of entitlement. There may also be a chance of it being a strategy she is using to dispel the entitled douchebags.
@deltaxcd3 жыл бұрын
@@horacethecheese1009 This is not something to compare to vegans. That kind of ultimatum is an insult to the guys intelligence even to think that he may agree. @@TwelvetreeZ Usually it is not barely used, but severely abused and damaged to the level where it is is dangerous to drive. Even if we follow your logic and car is just barely used, what sense will it make if someone asked you to pay for a car which was giver for free to bunch of the guys to ride and discard it and when your turn comes dealer says "sorry you pay 100k upfront and not even getting test ride." This is plain disrespectful to that guy because what did he do to deserve to be treated worse then all those other guys? Likewise approaching a drunk woman with a camera and microphone and asking her strange/invasive questions, these men are setting themselves up for a pretty unpredictable scenario there too. You never know how anyone is going to react to anything; you can’t control that. So you have to make your own choices and stand up for yourself regardless, its the only thing you CAN control... Thats why these guys are preying on women who have their decision-making impaired by alcohol.

@@machete660 i agree but unfortunately even those of us who don’t allow ourselves to be taken advantage of or fucked with, are entirely out of control if the person is physically intimidating. for example i unfortunately have been physically blocked from leaving and have also seen this happen to other women. pepper spray and a knife that i choose to carry don’t do much, especially because some people travel in pairs. the worst is when they block exits or follow me to the bathroom. it’s like some f’ed up fear tactic like if they can’t speak to me they’ll let me know they’re lurking nearby and making it so i can’t leave 😭 it’s so messed up 😭 it’s not representative of most people, clearly they’re messed up & extreme. just wanted to offer a different perspective.
