my partner and I watched this last night, i have seen it before but it was his first time, i am still beguiled by it and Ann Lambert is still so beautiful and mesmerising to this day. Love the novel & movie. The music is hauntingly lingering in the mind & always will. 💯💚

I can think of no theme music so fitting of a beguiling movie that does haunt, it's almost a horror film but is not, it is certainly very creepy, it's a perfect movie.

As the great Bernard Hermann (Vertigo, Obsession, Taxi Driver, Ghost and Mrs Muir etc etc) said in an interview, it’s the standard of the music score that makes of breaks a movie. How true that is.

During Production they were having trouble with music Peter was looking for a sound that was the Rock this piece was brought to him and he said THIS IS IT THE HAUNTING PANPIPES THIS PAYGAN FEELING THE OLD GODS.
