I went to the mountains in a pine forest for a picnic, to show a recreation area and a barbecue area in Tenerife, and in this video you will see an overview of exotic fruits that are grown in the Canary Islands.

1. Red banana (Platano Rojo) - was introduced to the Canary Islands about 40 years ago, presumably from Cuba for further adaptation. Banana has been successfully adapted. It has a pleasant aroma, much tastier than a regular banana.

2. Lychee - "Dragon eye" fruit comes from Southeast Asia. Tastes like grapes. Costs 9.5 euro kg
3. Passion fruit - Parchita - was brought for cultivation in Tenerife from South America. It has a pronounced taste and pleasant aroma. The cost is on average 2.5-5.5 euros
4. Pineapple - grows on the smallest island of the Canary archipelago - El Hierro
Average cost between 2 - 6 euros per kg
5. Noni is a tropical fruit native to Poinesia. Adapted to Tenerife. The cost is 4.5 euros per kg
6. Mango and mangas, the cost is on average from 2.5 to 6 euros
7. Pera Melon or Pepino dulce - a miracle fruit was brought to the island from Peru. By consuming this fruit, you can immediately feel 3 tastes - melon, pear and cucumber. Very juicy and low calorie. The average cost is 4 euros.
8. Pitaya - Dragon fruit - imported from Southeast Asia. The average price is 6 euros per kg
9. Opuntia cactus fruit - imported from Mexico and has been successfully adapted to the climate of Tenerife. It grows throughout the Canary archipelago. Blooms beautifully in yellow or pink. The cost is on average 3 - 4 euros per kg.
