wondering if someone can make a pcie card for modern PCs that has vga, cga, or other formats, along with sound and other DOS pc essentials all in one. we can all pretty much still boot DOS and even enter windows 3.x on a modern PC right now, but video output doesn't work for a lot of things (sierra games for example). i can open megaman, but it's too fast of course, perhaps some kind of hardware limiter? i hear the music in colonels bequest, but there's no video output. aside just using dosbox, it would just be a fun endeavor to "see how well you can make it work" on native boot.

Does it set the system clock via wifi or some other method? I remember purchasing a ISA card that took a batteries so my system date and time would get set on boot.

You can set the time via NTP (use mtcp tools via the wifi)
