Due to circumstances that aren't relevant, I've been out of graphics for over seven years. I'm unable to work, but can do some things at home in bed. I subscribed to Adobe CC for one year. I don't expect to make money, but at least keep from going completely crazy. I really enjoyed your video, even when you made errors (and showed how to fix). I also like shortcuts, so thanks for that. I get to the part where you choose the row and columns to be able to distort each letter individually but instead of doing what it shows in the tutorial, the entire word keeps moving. Any suggestions?

When I ever I switch to "Make with Mesh" it does not allow me to alter individual letters. :( I watched over and over again to make sure I wasn't missing any steps. I don't know what I am missing.

you jumped the steps between AI and PSD. I tried exportig the file to png and opened it on PSD and now I try to copy it into a background but for some reason it only copies the stary sky layer instead of the whole thing. What am I doing wrong?

Cool Video, thanks.....I have a question though, how do you transfer the finished graphic from Ai to Ps? Do you have to save it first, if so ...in what format do we save it......as in RGB format or CMYK? or you click and drag the graphic from Ai to the Ps? (meaning you have two already opened software...Ai and Ps, I asked because i just want to export the graphic not together with the background.....or do you have to use the Alpha Channel thingy.... Thank you. :)

Hey just wanted to say thanks! Great tutorial! Only issue I had was when I went to save the .png wolf file on Illustrator, when I opened it in photoshop it still was on a white background with dust speckles etc. Wasn't sure how to get round that. Nice tut. But when you were trying to select all text you forgot you already group everything and the layer wolf has been moved into new Group layer, so when you lock layer wolf there is nothing on the layer, you should have expand the group layer and lock the wolf. But anyway good tutorial

EMSLeitoPL Photoshop is NOT vector based. So you will need to save it with Illustrator to maintain the quality. If you save it with Photoshop, the quality won't be effected as much though.
