Thanks for the video, and for showing the map on which you marked your route. It looks a bit challenging to determine your exact route from the shot of that map, but it may be enough. The scenery is outstanding, and that road did look so nice that you could forget having to watch for potholes and other problems and just enjoy the scenery. The Sierra Nevada mountains here are similar, but without bronze statues and lovely villages along the way. Keep the rubber side down, and via con Dios.
@RichyVida9 жыл бұрын
Cheers Robert. Exactly, totally outstanding scenery. Really does knock your socks off. I did the Sierra Nevada's in 2012 on a month tour with my Dad. We cut through on our way to Jerez, 25°c at the bottom, and -1°c and snowing at the top! Scared me to death! I can work you some rough routes out if you like. Cheers

Richy, I love your rides every route is amazing. Can I suggest something which I am really certain all fans would really appreciate? Why not publish your routes on line to enable other adventurous bikers to find the wow rides you go on? Just a suggestion mate! Well done, thanks for sharing again, keep the great movies coming mate!

Hi Rich what cam are you using, good shots and love the vids. So kay just scrolled down the other vids and found out it was a Drift Ghost, the one I've been looking at last week. What do you think of it in the field.
@RichyVida10 жыл бұрын
Hi Patrick. It is a super camera mate. We all use them. Great battery life on the Ghost (3hrs - filming at 1080/25fps) I would recommend it all day long, and it's a great price now too! Rotating lens so you always have a level horizon no matter how or where you mount it. I would advise buying the external mic too. All action cam's have shit onboard mics. I have it routed through, into my helmet, so it's nice and clear. Here's the link to it. Tell em I sent ya! www.actioncameras.co.uk/drift-hd-ghost

Dear Richy, I love your videos I think you guys are one of the best youtube publishers I watched other videos but you guys are awesome however my comment is regarding tours currently My side I like to do a tour around Europe to be honest it is first tour I will ever do on my bike but what worries me is costs example I like to do tour from UK to Slovenia croatia, Dubrovnik, Serbia, Bosnia, down to turkey and then back toward UK can you give me some advice regarding costs example how much money did you guys spend on the way on your journeys do you do also group tours or just with your friends I own a suzuki RF 600 RV here Like I say it will be my first tour here so I dont know really all the things of it Any advice would be very appreciated Richy. You guys really awesome I love watching your videos I hope to hear from you

Are you happy with the Ghost S video quality?
@RichyVida9 жыл бұрын
In the sunshine it's perfect. If there's is cloud cover, the sky acts as a giant soft box (photography) and the camera gets very contrasty. This can be sorted in post production though..

Richy, You passed within whiskers of the monument al Oso Pardo - a giant cat over looking even more stunning views. www.google.co.uk/maps/place/Monumento+Al+Oso+Pardo just off the N621 about 5 minutes further on from where you stopped to mount the statue of the young buck.

+RichyVida Richy my error it is a monument to the region's brown bears not cat as I wrote above. Have watched all your tours - 4 days it took me and for me although your Norway tour and also tour of Europe were brilliant, this one was the best for me even with your fruity commentary .... ;@). So I now plan to go in early June on my VFR to ride there roads. Shall hopefullyl also ride a bit further west than you went further along into Asturias mountains. On the way back ride up some of the high mountain cols of the Pyrenees - if they are open .............1st June they are supposed to be. The ferry to Santander is flippin expensive though and you HAVE to book a cabin which adds even more cost so thinking of going to Caen in Northern France and riding down. I think you and the guys shared a cabin. The footage of Egone in his bunk with boots and safety belt on is hilarious. You, Egone and Paul make a really good team. I hope some production company picks you up as you are better than Clarkson, Captain Slow and the Hamster. Maybe start your own production company? Thanks again for posting your videos. They very enjoyable and well made.
@petrinacook93387 жыл бұрын
Why don't you introduce members of your touring party at the beginning. I take it you egone and jim are riding. Only recognise Jim from Norwegian video. 10 mins into this video and hes not mentioned yet seen several times.

Did the Picos in 2013 right across to cap finisterre & back, possibly the best biking roads in the world for my KTM950sm, had an amazing time with friendly people & no bloody British tourists...except for us ahem ;)

I think if all people would spend at least an entire day on the street on some form of motorcycle it would make riding way safer. Then everyone would be more aware. Most the near misses I've had since I started riding involved someone in a car not paying attention.
