The first time I heard this was about 6 years ago on a Top 50 NES Music compilation. I thought for sure they accidentally put arcade or some more advanced system's music... Turns out I was about to learn of Tim's skillz and have my mind blown! 😮

I noticed that triangle channel has a staggered wavelength

It's because the NES's triangle channel behaved similar to a sine wave, but it only had 16 volumes due to limitations. If it had 256 or more, it would be way smoother and less muffled.

Glad I'm not the only one who noticed that PTS Seems to have used Famicom/NES styled music EDIT: "."
