Flight Of Icarus is pronounced exactly how you said it so good for you. I've owned those two Metallica picture discs for over 30 years also Slayer Show No Mercy picture disc I got around 1987

Very nice collection! 🙂 Picture discs are just for display purposes really because they’re painted with the album’s artwork and look super cool. They’re usually thicker than regular vinyl and all this paint affect their sound quality, they don’t play well. The jump in the fire one and the Paramore are the most unique and weird I’ve ever seen by far! 🤣

Nice collection (I am so jealous of the "Ghost B.C.-LPs!!!), although I have to agree, that picture discs-aren´t my favorites either, they do not have the same sound-quality, as a regular LP and I think it has something to do with the layer of "paint", or colour, that is put on the LP, to make it a picture-disc! Please correct me, if i am wrong!

About Metallica pic discs..Music for Nations MFN prefixes...officail recordcompany in UK..now defunct. shape Metallica without barcode..that is a rarity..as wel re-release with barcode. Check Discogs for more info about those..Discogs is a superhuge database !!!!

Black vinyl all the way. Ben zelf ook geen fan van pic discs omdat ze altijd zeggen dat ze slechter zijn. Toch hebben ze wel iets gaafs, om de hele cover art op de lp te zien. Zelfs gekleurd of splatter vinyl hoeft niet voor mij. Ze zijn wel heel mooi soms, maar ze kosten altijd een paar euro meer en dat heb ik er dan nooit voor over. Once you go black... 😂

Creeping Death by Metallica is not a bootleg,I had a copy of it on picture disc when it first came out.When I collected picture discs I used to buy a black vinyl version as well as a picture disc.I have a few Iron Maiden picture discs,like Powerslave which is faulty because it speeds up on the song Powerslave..Wish I kept my picture discs,used to have Reign in blood by Slayer on picture disc.

@@emmelieherwegh Sold them back in the 1980's,definitley wish I kept them,got Brave new world and Dance of death on picture disc when they came out because they were originally only available on picture disc.
