Pakistan doesn't need to Make Cars , Because the R&D Expenditure will be Huge and It will lead to Losses instead of Profits for Pakistan's Economy. Many Countries are Making Cars and Pakistan will Not be Able to Compete With Them, Because there is already Huge Oversupply in the Car Industry, Mostly Because of China. Instead Pakistan should make more products of which it already knows how to make like footballs, towels, underwear etc

there are many countries producing footballs, towels, underwear etc. by that logic, they won't be able to produce anything. you need to focus on what you can do well, but also get into newer areas to diversify. Manufacturing capability to produce hard goods is really important.

Even in the US, all brands and models are not available off the shelf...one has to book and wait for months to get the preferred model. The company or dealer should have enough financial muscle for holding stocks because the customer only wants a specific brand model, variant and colour.. this permutation runs into hundreds of numbers..

Why do we need to make more cars? Our roads can’t take in more cars. Singapore has stopped putting cars on roads anymore. It’s not worth it. They are focusing on public transportation. Fumes emitting cars are unaffordable from Climate point of view for us. Our walk ways are least pedestrian friendly. Everyone is driving a vehicle of some sort. No one is walking. That’s a unhealthy way of living. Stop putting cars on the road; till you have quality roads.
