Damn, doves are very upfront with it, huh? When my female cockatiel wants to mate she just kinda follows her man around and lowers her head so he can climb on her back. Rarely she starts calling out for him though, which is super sweet, because she's trying to mimick some of the songs he sings. She's not very good at it, but you can clearly tell it's supposed to be a song and I find that awesome. She first started doing it when he was super sick once and nearly died to a stomach infection (he fully recovered, thankfully). They love each other so much.

I've always wondered how a Cockatiel and dove would interact? They are both kind of mild manured. Cockatiel probably being the more aggressive out of the two. I have 22 parrots 🦜 from Parakeets to Cockatoo's. I'd adopt more if I were younger. All parrot owners know just how much work it is to keep birds 🐦. To me , its worth it.
