What's interesting is that because the bpm goes up by 1 every beat, the space between beats decreases. So, as the bpm increases, the rate at which the bpm increases also increases.

The title of the track makes sense when you know DM Ashura is also currently a mathematics professor. It indirectly references the 'delta' notation which represents the rate of change of something, in this case it's the increase in tempo.

I can picture dancing to this... 100: Hmm. A little slow... 200: Well, things are picking up. 300: Ok, it's pretty fast now. 400: Too fast! Too fast!! 500: Runaway DDR! HELP!!! 573: Whew. That was hectic. (shaken)

@Kingdaro557 No because if I recall, I don't remember hearing the "CHOWWW" part in the original. The audio feed that we're hearing here is what I believe is the Universe version.

@SlickDX536 The numbers *are* the actual BPM of the song at that point. The BPM goes up by 1 every beat.

I have two reasons behind my conclusion: 1) The numbers on the SM version aren't translucent, thus you can actually see the the number at all times. 2) The one from SM uses classic DDR bg videos, and I generally don't like the new ones.
