Great videos… Just got a R9T Urban GS that I’m setting up for travel. Does removing the airbox and snorkel affect the bike’s ability to cross water or risk water intake in rain? Thanks

I am busy modifying things to fit this short air intake but although my 9t is a Gen-2 2020 the filter is not in the snorkle but also in the airbox like in the video.

Beautiful bike, where did you got those grips, is the 2021 the same throttle by wire as the 2023?

Yes the 2021 and the 2023 models are the same - the grips on this model are made by Rizoma and can only be fitted to the 2014-2020 models. Please note that you will need to get rid of the BMW heated grips in order to fit them.

Does the twin scoops simply ‘line up’ with the chopped oem scoop on a gen 1? Is it a snug fit? Ie: does air get directed straight in or is there air flow loss?

No, this is made from resin. We have no plans to make a metal one but you could paint it.
