Okay I'll be a bit more selective with my choice of words. By "emo" I meant emotional problems. When I post a video, I want it to bring happiness and emotion to others. When, however, the emotion gets to the point where people are discussing self injury and suicide, it is my job as the uploader to direct them to a place where they can receive assistance regardless of financial standing. I think most of us have gone through a period in our teenage and young adult years where we've had some of these feelings. But often people think it will never get better and they commit suicide. So the fact that i stated my case on my purpose for uploading the video and directed those who need or want to seek help to professional facilities is whatever you want it to be. From my perspective, it is kindness and tough love. I'm not going to coddle or encourage someone who is in despair, as I am not qualified to do so, but there are people who are more than qualified and with the right help, those struggling can begin to get better, just like I did.

I’m still going through depression how did you get through it
@allisonmelotte5199
@allisonmelotte5199 6 ай бұрын
@@anthonygonzales3125 I think one of the most important things I’d point out first is, it’s okay to ask for help, it’s okay to seek therapy or see a doctor or take medication for depression. Depression is a chemical imbalance and some people need meds to regulate the imbalance and there is no shame in that. I just wanted to say that because I feel like there is a huge negative stigma around mental health but don’t ever feel ashamed or embarrassed, it’s a part of life that a lot of people go through and there are a lot of people who love u and don’t want u to suffer in silence. That being said, I’ve found that doing things that make me happy and finding healthy hobbies helps me get in a good headspace and feeling good. Being around people who make me feel genuinely happy that make me laugh. Making healthy meals and going for walks. Or maybe just sitting outside and getting fresh air. These are things I love to do, it’s really about you and what you love to do. Surrounding yourself with good people that love you and lift you up, taking things one day at a time, doing things for you and your well-being, self care, and most importantly give yourself grace. I’m not perfect, you’re not perfect, no one is. You deserve good things, you deserve to be happy. You deserve the love people give you despite what your brain tells you. Things get better over time. ❤️‍🩹

Okay why can't this particular area of music be a place for all of us to come together and talk about our emotional struggles in life and just connect with Eachother to be honest I LOVE hearing people talk about their self harm and their suicide tendencies because we are all human and we strive for a connection with someone here we ha e all been through this we know what it's like so don't complain when people just want to talk about their problems they need that instead of be locked up in a whole and drawn to silence because selfish people are so worried about their god damn videos! Look if your looking for someone to talk to and connect with please talk to me I'm a very friendly and open minded person and not one to bring judgement on who you are, what you've seen, or what god you are scribed to thankyou and I LOVE all of you with all my heart!!!

Tigersaudio Okay. So you are enlightened to the point where you love every single human being on the planet? The child molesters.. wife beaters.. murderers..gang bangers.. thieves..? Come on. There are bad people in this world. There are also good people, ying and yang. You love to hear people talk about suicide and self harm? What is wrong with you? As human beings it is our instinct to do the complete opposite so unless you have any training in the mental health field, give it a rest. When someone is that ill, youtube will not heal their wounds, neither will you going on about being open minded or talking about God. Get an actual education and choose more carefully who you love. I'm sure you wouldn't love someone who killed one of your family members or sexually abused one of them.
@katdigsmusic

Kathleen Raft yeah I understand but I just as a persons who's been through this with my own personal issues I just longed for someone to talk to and I just feel like people should be welcomed to a place like this where they can talk and connect to others just like themselves, I found my people to talk to going to concerts a lot and I enjoyed connecting with other kids who were broken and struggling we all come here for the emotional release, but I just I encourage this community to be open about their problem and challenges they face just in hopes someone can come along be like "yeah I know what you mean, I've been there" or "yeah I do the same thing" so I apologize of I've offended anyone here but yeah......
@katdigsmusic
@katdigsmusic 9 жыл бұрын
I agree that people get lonely and should be welcomed to a place like this where they connect with people. I also encourage people to be themselves and be open about what they choose to share with the online community. I also agree with being able to relate to someone else, it helps to know that you are not alone. But there is a line, see. There is an ethical part of this for me personally, as the uploader, to direct people who are suicidal or harming themselves to seek professional help. It is one thing to connect and relate with people about struggle. It is another thing to threaten suicide or self harm that could possibly lead to death. The latter is what crosses that line. There is a lot of suffering in this world but there is also a lot of good and a lot of people willing to help others regardless of religion, financial status, race, gender, sexual orientation, etc, who went to college specifically to help those who are struggling in that way. I am even willing to help my viewers and subscribers, anyone I see who wants it, find help.

Wow okay just reliving me emo days because some random covered this song on Spotify and they don't have the original there STILL 🙃 his version was actually pretty decent, then I spent a few days listening to that blue lit live recording on YT because it always hits so deep hearing the crowd screaming until their lungs give out. But only TODAY did I finally step back and listen to this, basically OG version in a different pitch than the two versions I've been repeating. Wow. Just so much wow. How can the simplist of pitch changes and switch up endings have me in tears mentally reliving my teenage years? Does being 25 now really make me old? I'm not this incredibly emotional teenage overlord screaming these lyrics in school hallways anymore, but now my neighbors have to remember those times with me. 😫 I literally cannot stop myself from belting this out when I hear it and I'm like Oh WAIT THATS THE PITCH THATS THE FEELING IN MY CHEST FROM SO LONG AGO. Jonny Craig is still the world's biggest piece of shit but I cannot deny the purity of his vocals in moments like this. Always love Vic 💗 would die to hear this song remade with Kurt Travis instead because he's the FUCKING B-E-EST!!
