Not a big Pierce the veil fan but to see a black guy doing a cover of heavy screaming dirty vocals is insanely great. I am only mixed, not fully black but I can say first hand that the black community has given me such a hard time my entire life over hardcore and post hardcore music. We need to break down these racial barriers.

People into heavier music already get shit from the general population, I can't imagine what it's like to have that compounded by your own community. Have you heard Zeal & Ardor? Really unique take on heavy music from a "black" perspective. (Black Metal meets Black Spirituals) I put it in quotes because it's more complicated than that, but still worth checking out.
