doglover98683 i think it means that Sometimes the problems we face stress us out and hurt us. If we keep living in pain and anxiety, then it’s basically not even living. It’s more like falling asleep and being out of it. Vic is proposing that after death is when you really start living. He may believe that there is a more vibrant and accepting life after death, because no one has money or things that separate themselves from everyone else.
