Emo and Metal are definitely the hardest musical styles to sing. You have to have a breath big, and they still have a strong throat, otherwise you f your throat. Even more the Emo who have higher voices, and still make Screamo. That's why most Rock Vocalists in general, including all styles, their voices get so f up over time. These guys literally sacrifice their voices, an example of that is Corey Taylor, in the first days his screams were animals, in Iowa (2001) he sounded like a demon, but he was almost mute because of that, he screamed without any "protection" to not f with his voice, and he broke up with her, in 2004 his voice was horrible because he had broken up with his voice, and he was still addicted to drugs and alcohol.
