Piero and Ignazio (Il Volo) being hilarious and fooling around at the NYCB Theatre At Westbury in Westbury, New York on September 7th, 2012. This was one of the funniest parts of the concert!! Both Piero and Ignazio stripping/dancing and Gianluca's reaction to it was hysterical! This video is mine! recorded from the 5th row! Enjoy!

I love these guys. You would never see Gianluca do this, I think he is the little to shy. One of the funniest videos is when they were popping balloons with questions in them and one of the questions is what was you most embarassing moment. Piero and Ignazio told there's and Gianluca said that I really don't do anything to embarass myself and Ignazio said that ok Gianluca not everyone does. Just wanted to share that.

I think it was Boston where Piero removed his jacket for this bit, and one of his t-shirt sleeves had been pushed up to his shoulder, treating everyone to a lovely view of the muscles on his upper arm. The women where I was sitting all went a little crazy - yes, women can wolf-whistle just as well as men can. Wow, has he been working out! ;)

Do you ever get the impression that Gianluca longs to jump in there and participate in the hi-jinx but he's too shy? I think that sometimes.

The context is: one or both of them is complaining about being overheated (in Boston, Piero did his onstage change to his vest just prior to this, no intermisson). Then he helps Ignazio change into a cooler outfit, but they turn it into a sexy "striptease" while they do it. I loved this part. Trust me, it makes sense when you get the dialog ahead of it. And Gianluca stays cool through the while thing and takes NOTHING off. :)

One of those bits where Piero is fearless, Ignazio goes a little crazy and Gianluca retains his dignity by innocently looking like he's never seen either one of the other two before in his life. All three of them make me burst out laughing ... they complement each other so well ... how can you not love these guys?

I can't imagine him being timid or reticent during rehearsals and preliminaries, so if he truly wanted to participate in that sense, he would make that known, and we'd be seeing it. I think he knows his current strengths quite well (the "I Want to go Home" bit): the exasperation, slow burn, reactions to the lunacy of the other two - and he's incredibly quick in responding to unexpected audience participation. But they are all changing over time - maybe we'll see a new side of him, next tour!

Either in New York or Boston, he opened his arms and shrugged his shoulders, as though to say: "I was just standing here, innocently minding my own business when these two strangers jumped on the stage and started acting like lunatics - what could I do?" They have this wonderful rapport that translates into any language so beautifully. I just love watching all of them. :)

I must of watched this video about 100 times now and it couldn't of been anymore perfect if the best comedy writers in Hollywood wrote it. Ignazio makes me laugh so hard at :25 when he looks so proud of himself for becoming "free" and then when Piero jerks him around it's so funny. Ignazio's impromptu little dance is great too and then when it pans to a shot of Gianluca looking exasperated that's the perfect ending.. Greatest Il Volo video EVER! Well one of them anyhow. :-)
