Boulez seems a gentle happy person, very different from the "cold intellect" of his reputation and music. He is a treasure.

After his death, they organized a tribute ceremony at the Paris Philharmony where music was played and they also showed interviews and documentaries. You could see him giving conducting master classes and I indeed had the impression of someone really charming.

Don't tell me Kigawa has memorized all the piano works of Boulez. Ive seen several pianists memorize 2nd Sonata . AMAZED !

Pierre Boulez sur les Notations : "En fait, j'étais complètement pété et j'ai écrit n'importe quoi sur une partition ! Et des gens ont pris ça au sérieux !!!"

He was a great conductor and a great theorist. His music really sucks in my opinion. The whole Darmstad «school» is based on pseudo intelectualism. It really was a very dark period in music history. A senseless hyperbole of the 12 tone system.

Are you really posting negative comments on every Boulez video you find on KZbin? Is somebody paying you?

Your comments suck more than his music. Don't believe that if you don't like a music, it sucks. But there something sure : you suck.
