That was wonderful. I had the privilege of being Pierre's drum tech on MO's 'Five Miles Out' and 'Crises' tours. Lovely guy and brilliant percussionist. I was being paid to watch him every night--nice work if you can get it!

Mon premier encontre avec Pierre Moerlen fut à 15 ans, quand je achetè la VHS du concert de Mike Oldfield à Knebworth... fantastique... avec Tim Cross, David Bedford, Mike Frye, Benoit et Pierre, Hansford Rowe, etcetera!

It would be interesting to see them make a collaboration with the contemporary Gong line up, both the projects are still going on after the leaders (Allen and Moerlen) passed away.

So lucky I got to see him with Mike Oldfield Long Island NY My Fathers Place w. Morris Pert on percussion and drums. If I remember the two with switch off from drums to percussion. I've never seen so much gear crammed on stage. The week before or after I saw the same lineup at The Ritz NYC. RIP Morris and Pierre

ahah il intègre gong et bronson décide qu'il en devient le leader, n'importe kw, quel ego? vers1974 daevid allen et gilli smith quittes le gong vers 1975 hillage quittes aussi , 1976 bloomdido aussi prends son envol seul. du gong il ne reste que moerlen qui reprend le groupe a son nom
