Pierre Poilievre holds a press conference in Winnipeg. The Conservative leader is visiting Manitoba to rally supporters ahead of a byelection in Portage-Lisgar, where People’s Party of Canada Leader Maxime Bernier is running for the seat vacated by longtime Conservative MP and former interim leader Candice Bergen. The byelection is set to take place on June 19.
