Such a good day, first BABYMONSTER performances and then my hometown football team the Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 29-10 on Netflix. There’s a BABYMONSTER connection here. For some reason, Ruka keeps wearing a Pittsburgh Steelers jersey. I don’t know why! I think she needs a K.C. jersey!! (I’m just kidding around here!) I hope the BABYMONSTER world tour comes to Kansas City! Merry Christmas all! On a technical side, why does Rora have her earphones over just one ear? It looks like the other members are covering both ears.

Sometimes it is easier for a singer to "hear" the others in the true surroundings and not throught the headphones.... some find it easier to adapt and to harmonize that way because when you practise or just sing together it is without headphones and some singers ears get more used to that way. You often see singers in groups move one side of their headphones away when they start harmonizing live....

Did you see the show Ahyeon was on with 2 other BABYMONSTER members and she told the story of the “Y to the G, no copy no knockoff” by Ruka? Now every time I hear Ruka say that I respect her more! Ahyeon said the original song was written “A to Z” . When Ruka heard it she changed it to “Y to the G”. She got writing credits for it. I think it “makes” the whole song…A to the Z just wouldn’t have hit the same! I think Ruka nailed it with the “Y to the G” replacing “A to Z.”
