Her mother was obviously too busy having more children rather than raising the ones she already had😢 As a parent, I often look at the family dynamics of girls who are involved in hideous criminal activity. I often see a single parent more interested in herself, than dedicating her time to raising her children. I was a single parent, and dedicated every fiber of my being to raising educated, productive & moral daughters. I WAS SUCCESSFUL, so that's how I know it's possible.

I do agree with you that liars use that statement to manipulate people into believing them but it is a bit more nuanced than 99% of the time they're lying. Some people say that because they know they're not gonna be believed so they use that qualifying statement to convince them of the truth of their statement. It can be used like a preemptive to damage control their claim knowing they won't be believed. Like, doubling down hoping they believe you when you have a feeling they probably won't. You have to ask yourself why someone felt the need to say qualify their statement in order to know if they're lying or not. "I'm not even gonna lie", well, are they saying that because they really are liars or because the claim they're making is legitimately hard to believe but actually true.

From what I have read about the case she is the one who set up her online 'business' of luring guys to be beaten and robbed. Then recruited the two guys to be part of it. This is probably the reason she has been treated so severely. She was the mastermind of everything. My question is, was this a site where she sold drugs online or did she set up "dates" with some drug use as something extra? Did she tell guys they'd have more fun if there was a little something extra and she knew where they could get it? How many others did she set up to be beaten and robbed? And why were they beaten and not just robbed?

I don’t know about America being gripped by the “hiccup murders”…I’m a true crime fan and never heard of her. But I’m glad she’s where she is.

What the show’s producers left out was that Hiccup Girl had run away from home and living with the other 2 accomplices. All 3 of them would routinely hunt for robbery victims online and set them up. If it wasn’t THIS victim , it would eventually have been another victim down the road.

I can't help but think about this girl every time I see anything about gypsy rose! Yes what this girl did was absolutely awful and she is definitely paying for that,,it's just that Gypsy Rose is running around like some kind of celebrity making the world sick over what she did to her mother!

I know a person who cousin setup two men on a date and they were both murdered. Now she's looking at life in jail with her little dumb friends. This happens more than people know. Most people won't report it because they're embarrassed about getting set up by some chick.

It’s not that I feel sorry for her but I mean this system in amaerica is crazy. If she had committed the exact same from may 2 states down she’d have maybe done 20 max but Just because she was standing in Florida when it happened she will never see outside the gates of a prison again! Like it’s a lot to process.

Yea, those states need to up the punishment and be more like Florida.

Thats a VERY STRONG statement to make on the Lawyer saying he could have gotten her 10 Years or less if she was any random girl. I find this lawyer to be COMPLETELY delusional! Look at Amber Wright, a totally normal non popular or celebrity or famous girl who is getting LIFE for luring a boy to his death. Same situation same outcome life in prison.

Amber Wright knew that Seath Jackson would be murdered when she made the call. She made the call, knowing he would die. This was a robbery gone bad… Not even close to the same situation.
