Piers is actually portraying a very nice example of toxic masculinity in action here - and he also widely misinterprets the commercial. The other guy who points out that males commit suicide more often than women is failing to realise that the general consensus for male to be masculine, eg do not seek therapy for your problems but fix it yourself you pansy, is actually a huge part of why the suicidal rates are that high, and that part of solution must be the kind of consensus change that Gillette are going for here. It is quite astonishing to see how they both so very misinterprets this ad. They should read more about what they are complaining about. And yes, they are talking over their female co-hosts, interrupting before they can make their points, and refusing to acknowledging those points or to try to understand them.

Do you not agree that there are som critical aspects of what is considered masculine behaviour, and that it is possible to change while still being true men?
