that was great...it really is fascinating how edgy Howard's radio/tv has always been and yet he is a faithful husband and good father - as Piers pointed out, a very unique dichotomy. William Taylor - I've noticed that the more relevant therapy and self-exploration has become in his life (as seen on his show as he increasingly mentions it over the years), he's softened around the edges, as you've said. Also, I firmly believe that he's slowly evolved - very thoughtfully and with a plan - his show to appeal to a more general audience, so he can get into real gritty and interesting interviews with people who formerly wouldn't have gone near his show for any amount of money. I think that awareness started when he did AGT and saw a huge untapped audience of the more "wholesome" crowd. Maybe he's started thinking about his legacy.
