@Fairytale1293 That is so true! Rachmaninoff wrote his 2nd Piano Concerto, one of my very favorite classical works, while he was in a depression. Many classical composers wrote some of their most beautiful works while they were depressed or something sad had happened in their life. This song of Piet's is one of my absolute favorites of his! I, too, hear it over and over again in my head when I'm not playing it from my Piet playlist. It is SO heartfelt and beautiful!

My musical tastes are diverse, even eclectic, but grounded in real musicianship and talent. Piet has a gift which buries deep in the soul and leaves a mark. If it’s his life experiences that have nurtured that, I hope that his expression in music is as healing for him as it is for the listener.
