Pieter, In this video you said the Jesus became the Son of God because He was going to be born here on earth (His incarnation). You didn't dig into the meaning of "slain from the foundation of the World" and indicated the principle of this is the ultimate role that Jesus would play on Earth. While I always believed that the "sonship" role if we can call it that is related in fact related to Jesus's incarnation, I now wonder if this process of God "emptying Himself" from His godliness didn't actually start before the creation of our physical Earth and instead it means before any intelligent created beings existed. "when there were no depths I was brought forth . . . before the hills I was brought forth" Also, Prob. 8:30 says He was brought forth as a ":master workman" and from John we know there was nothing created that was not created by Jesus. Jesus also seems to have had a role different than God the Father with the angels, He is Michael, the leader of the heavenly host, also called the Angel of the Lord.

Awesome. Thank you ! Baie Dankie ! It takes me a few hours to get through each Lecture, as I pause it to Write down each Scripture correctly, and also the Definition and Application of terms used. It is always a pleasure to Study the WORD. The BIBLE (I use the KJV) Never Contradicts Itself. The SPIRIT Of PROPHESY and the Holy BIBLE Is In Perfect Harmony. I use them both and petition the LORD to let the Holy SPIRIT Guide me. HE Does. * * (P. S. I didn't realize that as SDA, there is such a gross misunderstanding of the GODHEAD among some of the Brethren and Sisters; until just a few years back, when a Brother said to me: " By the Way, I am not a Trinitarian ........... Trinity." Meaning that he didn't believe that there are Three Persons to the GODHEAD. He proceeded to put forth the idea that JESUS was born of GOD the FATHER, i.e. That JESUS Came Out from the inside (as in the bowels), of the FATHER even as a Child is born from the Womb of its Mother; and that JESUS then is an inferior GOD, (as in secondary in position to the FATHER); and that the Thoughts of Them Both, is the Holy SPIRIT. Making it to be: Two Persons to the GODHEAD; and, their Thoughts (their ways of thinking, etc.,) being referred to as the Holy SPIRIT. * (This can be classed with Blasphemy, I surely think.) His arrogance dumbfounded me. I had never heard such ignorance before. There was no need nor time for me to respond to his arrogance - (not only in what he said, but also how he said it); as in an ambush. We were not even in a discussion; he blurted it out in my face. Again, he has been a SDA for many years. He teaches a SABBATH School Youth Class. Yet he knows not who GOD IS. The Youth Class and other younger ones; look up to him. * (A few weeks ago, the Pastor at the SDA Church I attend, said that the Holy SPIRIT is the Air we breathe. Friends, that is Not So. The Pastor is Mistaken. Don't believe such lies if you hear them.)

Jesus is waiting to breathe upon all his disciples, and give them the inspiration of HIS SANCTIFYING SPIRIT, and transfuse THE VITAL INFLUENCE FROM HIMSELF to his people. He would have them understand that henceforth they cannot serve two masters. Their lives cannot be divided. CHRIST IS TO LIVE IN HIS HUMAN AGENTS, and work through their faculties, and act through their capabilities. Their will must be submitted to his will, they must act with his spirit, that it may be no more they that live, but CHRIST THAT LIVETH IN THEM. Jesus is seeking to impress upon them the thought that in giving HIS HOLY SPIRIT he is giving to them the glory which the Father has given him, that he and his people may be one in God. Our way and will must be in submission to God’s will, knowing that it is holy, just, and good. {ST October 3, 1892, par. 4}

The sermon is just a deception! Read chapter 30 of the great controversy by E G White. The origin of Evil. The war in heaven is about Micheal the Son of God position.

This man knows a little Greek n Hebrew words but I see he picks out the one meaning that suits his narrative and leaves behind some of the other meanings of the same word that would not compliment his narrative. Also notice that he does not deal with the world "only" in the phrase "only begotten". Also he does not mention Hebrews 1:2 which clearly states that God made the worlds by His Son. To make the worlds by son means must have son BEFORE making the worlds. He also leaves out the very words of Jesus in John 17:3 " the ONLY (monos) TRUE ( Alethinos) God. Also the conjunction "and" which introduces an other person= Jesus Christ. These words of Jesus demand utmost attention. They are re-enforced ( not that they need re-enforcement ) by Paul's words in 1Cor 8:6. As Paul puts it " But to us there is but ONE God ( WHO might that be Paul?) THE FATHER!!! So please do not "buy" this man's narrative because he does have a few holes in his theological bucket. By the way his speaking of being "brought forth" as in Proverbs 8:24,25 is the same word as in Is. 45:10; 13:8; 23:4; 26:18; 66:7,8 and also Micah 4:10. Please do not be taken in because he knows a bit of Hebrew. U know of a Hebrew, Aramaic , and Greek scholar who is extremely knowledgeable of all three languages and believes in Universal salvation. So I do think this presenter should be one also who puts aside his preconceived concepts and perhaps could benefit by a closer look at CREATOR'S words to His Only begotten Son "let us make man in our image."

His presentation is already an hour long. Are you wanting him to cover the Bible from cover to cover??? Yes for the sake of time he has condensed the material to fit a timely manner. Instead of complaining about the verses or words he didn't cover maybe contemplate the ones he did cover. And you will find sufficient evidence to interpret the others correctly. Remember If Jesus is not Fully God then we are guilty of idolatry and polytheism. Because the Bible calls him God.
