The table does a great job for shearing, no knees in the neck or stomach needed and overall the animal was calm but did make a weak attempt to move out. I bet owners love this table as it is far more gentle on the animals.

When it's time for my next haircut, can I come over and lie down? I don't have quite as fluffy wool, but I have plenty. I'm just very ticklish when the machine runs over my back...

I've never seen an alpaca struggle when being shorn like in this video. I'd say that table does not give the alpaca any sense of stability. Laying them on the ground where they are secure it's much more humane

He's getting them done under 5 minutes with minimal fuss. I've seen them struggle on the ground when tied down and stretched out too. I thought this was an interesting concept. The animals were fine afterward. They just went out and started grazing like nothing happened.

I like the whole shearing setup. You have any pictures or plans of the table with overhead bracket?
