Everyone is say that england's rotation policy was the reason they lost the test series, but there's always other side to it, before the start of the test series root said in the press conference that england will take inspiration from india, india won the test series in australia without their main players and showed that you can still win provided you are ready to fight, but none of the english players fought in the recent test series against india, obviously playing in india is difficult for any touring team but whatever root said in the press conference prior to the start of the test series was absolutely false and england collapsed badly.

What bothers me is that England rest players due to ‘fatigue of being in the bubble and away from family’, yet they all (except Wood) will all quite happily stay in India to play a 6 week IPL tournament. Eoin Morgan missed a bowler of the calibre of Liam Plunkett, someone who could bowl cutters, vary his pace and surprise the opposition. Morgan sidelined him during the WC and Eng started losing matches, but when he made a comeback England's bowling looked complete with Archer and Wood providing the pace and Stokes and Liam taking the pace off. Sadly England have ignored Liam completely after the WC

In the IPL, too, he has had poor seasons with KKR, RR and still DC have paid 5.5 Cr for him. These next 6 months could be very crucial for his career. As there is the IPL, the T20 blast and the Hundred. His brother, Sam is good prospect but he he is more a No. 7 all round option and Eng can't afford to play all three in Stokes, Moeen and Sam as the bowling gets very weak
