I didn’t realize preformed back powder charges are available for pistols! I grew up with measured powder charges, which was a mess to deal with. This is opening new purchasing options. 😉

I agree. Minimal experience with black powder. My dad loved the stuff. Could hit targets readily to one hundred yards. This would be nice to keep as a backup defense weapon as no laws prohibit ANYONE from owning them unlike other firearms.

Voilà ce que j'utilise dans mes remington 1858 et colt 1862 et 1851. Jai le même que celui-ci et j'utilise ce que je viens de dire. Dans la vidéo le balles ont l'air trop petites.

You're getting zero resistance and no lead ring when seating each ball. You will get a chain fire and damage the gun

Pyrodex does not chain fire, and the balls were crimped in. Caps are sure lock. Modern powder gun guys. Pay attention. Your life mite need to depend on it

Pyrodex does chainfire when balls don't seal correctly. If a primer can ignite pyrodex so will hot flames and gasses from another cylinder. Your life may depend on it

Very nice pistol. You might consider slightly larger round balls. Ideally they should shave a lead ring off when rammed in the cylinder to get optimal performance.

Three things I notice wrong here, one being the pistol is to Shiney to fire on a sunny day. Second is the balls are too loose for the cylinder, they should shave a ring . Third is no lube over the ball. The balls need lube so the barrel gets lubricated and doesn't leave lead fouling in the rifling...

Я понимаю, что возможно этот Порох выгорает полностью и оставляет крайне мало нагара (хотя с pyrodex другая история, там он все же есть), но пыжи для обтюрации пули не помешали) Автор представил лайфхак самой быстрой и незапарной зарядки, поэтому будет думать в этом направлении)

Your lead balls are way too small. They shouldn't just drop straight in like that, they should have to be forced in by the ramrod, shaving off some extra lead around the edge. That creates a seal around it. You should look into changing that, it's a big safety hazard. (Not all .44 round ball is created equal, look for .454 or .457)
