Feeding Dairy Cows with Fendt 930 & Supreme 1700 - In this week's video, I'm showing you our feeding routine here on the farm. I take you through loading and unloading a mix of feed for our milking cows. We use a Supreme 1700 feed wagon and Fendt 930 tractor. If interested, I will post more feeding videos in the future!
If you have any questions that coincide with this week's video, leave them in the comments, and I will post a Q&A video on Sunday. Thanks for watching!

In the past, farming was largely an instinctive activity, and the best farmer was the one with the most sense of livestock, fodder, the weather, and nature in general. Today, so much is automated (and even autonomous) that the farmer is a manager on his farm. With an enormous amount of digital support, an attempt is made to generate as much return as possible within the welfare of the animal. I wonder where this will end, but I'm afraid of giant companies with all kinds of robots and only a few people behind the buttons. And that is probably not why they became farmers in the first place. Still, I find your videos extremely interesting, informative and of high quality. Thank you for that.

Great video. I'm74yo,your operation is a bit different than my grandfather's dairy I grew up on sixty years ago. We thought we had a good size operation milking 45-50 cows. Not many daires left that size. Time changes things. Welcome to the USA happy you hose to come live here😊

You know what i have noticed after wathing several of your videos now? You stil have that Dutch 'nuchterheid' Its nice to see. For people who doesnt know what nuchterheid means. It means something like down to earth or act normal and you act crazy enough mentality

Great video. That computer system sure makes things easier. I'm sure it helps manage so you don't waste as much ingredients. Feeding looks like it's pretty much a all day job. Thanks for sharing

Yeah, time for some action videos! Really cool! Keep them coming! I'm looking forward! So, how many times do you fill the feedingwagon in the morning and how much time does it take daily to feed them all?

Very cool! So other than the molasses, you put everything else in with the loader? (no augers?)

Do you ever actually weigh the refusals? Do you ever put them through the Penn State shaker box to check to see how well your TMR mixer is actually mixing the ingredients?

Interesting software. So when you change the amount of feed in% I assume that all ingredients change? We only change the amount of silage has no corn because our soils are not suitable for it.
