No this isn't Humboldt, it's further inland closer to I-5. The pigs do love the coastal areas though...

@@CacciaOutdoors I've been told to be careful for cannabis grows in that area around Covelo. Any comments? A friend hunts deer there and says if you're careful and stay away from any fields with drip lines hunting shouldn't be a problem. Any comments? You guys get a lot of game. I see you're on private land though, so that should be safe. The property lines look complicated in that area between private and public.

brendan pasillas Mendocino County has a booming population of pigs. There are some BLM areas you can find on onX. Also, around Clear Lake and Walker Ridge are good places to hunt, just not quite as good as Mendocino Co. Good luck! Let us know how you do.

OneShotYaa I’ve heard this rumor time and time again. Not sure how it was started but there are no California Fish and Game Code Sections that address limits on the number of rounds a rifle can hold for hunting. I think it came about when someone asked why most bolt guns only hold 3-5 rounds. In any case, look up the California mammal hunting regulations and have a look for yourself. I always encourage people to read the regulations. It can only serve to better educate the hunting community. Take care.

OneShotYaa Glad I could help, there are a bunch of rules and regs when it comes to AR’s. Pistol grips, collapsible stocks, fixed magazines, muzzle devices, etc. The list goes on. Check them out before taking to the field. Just to be safe. Happy hunting.
