I thought this RPG would be comical and quick like the other ones made by the same game creator, but this one turned out to be an actual RPG that did require tactical thinking and had real story. Not only that, although the plot twists are already quite typical in fantasy light novels, the philosophical themes and meta role reversal actually got quite deep. Pekora's "perfect acting" when the hero drowned in power and fell into darkness was amazing... she even managed to speak original lines that even the game hero didn't say! 1:47:47 「黙れ。弱者の声は届かない。」"Silence. Weakling's voice can't reach me." 2:04:00 「ざまみろや!」"SERVES YOU RIGHT!" These was Pekora's own lines, not read from the protagonist's script. w Glad she's not pushing herself to do a second DQV stream later; resting her throat is important. I chuckled when Pekora told us it's possible to write fan letters to PekoMommy as well. w
Hero: "It's just a dog, what could possibly go wrong?" Dog: "Yubi yubi" For a low budget/kusoge RPG maker made game it was quite interesting, the concept of seeing the plot from a small fry's perspective is not something you see explored that often (if at all) and it had a couple of plot twists here and there that caught my attention. Thank you for streaming today Pekora, seeing you play RPGs (even if they're short RPG Maker titles) is always an enjoyable thing. I'll try dropping by in time for tomorrow's stream ^^
Oh man, this has to be my favorite of these mock RPGs that mock RPGs and overexaggerate traits. So deep... Definitely a better parody than Moon (アスキーのゲーム) I... just think the message was delivered better here.
