Pigeon John has been an LA underground hip-hop artist since the early 90's. He's played the world and I've seen him do his thing many times. And his shows are definitely not whack! Coffee shops were back in 95. You're a bit late mate so don't even try to hate.

Pharrell is a good producer and is a good creative mind overall. You might not like him, but he deserves some respect for at least his production. Definitely not the best MC but he does enough to not be horrible. Pigeon John and Pharell are good creative people that have had success being somewhat atypical in their approach to music. Just show love and that's that.

@sh9683 If you knew anything about hip-hop music, you would know that love, fun, heartbreak, compassion, sadness, and life's struggles are all things that transcend man-made religion. Pigeon John is a man that identifies himself as christen, but he made a life for himself as a straight-up hip-hop artist, because a life of preaching your version of the "truth" is restricting and meaningless. If you're definition of "christian" is a person who preaches all the time, you're in for a surprise.

man what happened to the KJ days and him being positive instead of cursing and what not !
@sh968315 жыл бұрын
christians should not be hangin out at the club, unless they are spreading the truth. he is not christian, (although i really like his music) not all singers who call themselves christian are christian, i believe he is one of them, and if he is his priorities are messed up, (in one of his interviews he talked about people getting naked at his show, if you want christian rappers, consider lecrae, trip lee, tedashii, 116 clique, the ambassador, andale, the cross movement, kj 52

Pigeon John is a Christian rapper. Just because you're a Christian artist doesn't mean you have to make shitty music... although most "Christian" music does suck.
@mabus200715 жыл бұрын

@sh9683 How is "partying in a club" wrong? Neither this song or video condone inappropriate behavior. It's just him rapping and people dancing. When did this become bad or sinful? I am filmier with FLAME, and all I hear when I listen to him is a christen rapper stuck in a dirty south body. He may be positive and "about god" but he lacks lyrical skill, and his beats sound whack as hell. I can easily point you towards other Pigeon John racks that very directly reference god in his life.

you're right... i don't think Christian music is better than the music I listen to. You're thirteen, you don't know what music is. Toby was good when he was with dc Talk (Christian music of the 90's was good but it fell off; you wouldn't know anything about that, though). Every artist you just listed is intended to be an "alternative" to secular music. They aren't artists in themselves. PJ, on the other hand, makes music for music's sake. RK & GRITS are sellouts. Everyone else you listed sucks.
@sh968315 жыл бұрын
I don't believe he is very christian like in his song weight of the world christians should not try to live the american dream, which is what he says he's living for, and lots of his song are too girl oreanted reffering them as chicks or beautiful little charp chicks? not a very respectful way of talking about a girl. I believe he is a positive rapper but only raps christian songs to get a larger croud, to support his american dream
