Jordan that is easy decision!! At least when I’m trying to figure out what birds that I want I just go get them all & then see witch one I like better after getting them I’ll just get more of the ones I like!! Great content , Jordan..Thanks for inviting us in to share your life style. It’s the way it used to be unhurried for the most part . Question::Do you think that you could do another video ,(Probably this fall ), on methodically cutting up a Venison hind quarter..I have ✅ done 6/8 and it’s a work of art..because I am so meticulous..I am having a special knife made up for this , to cut a steak and gut a 🦌 deer and to remove the silver skin .The point will be twofold. To make the initial incision to gut the deer and the beginning cut to remove the silver skin . The point will be the configuration of a bullnose with a very small diameter .I don’t believe a sharp point is necessary..Any thoughts ? Thank you!!
@JordansHarvest4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Robert! Believe it or not I have a deer hind leg set aside for a video! I believe that your custom knife will do great. It often depends on your style of cutting on what knives you prefer

Good evening, Jordan, good to see the pigeon lofts again. I used to fly the homing pigeon in my teens. It was very exciting seeing them come back to the lofts from miles and miles away. There are a lot of feral pigeons from the shipping ports nearby which feed on the fields. Sometimes we shoot them when they come over the wood pigeon decoys but no-one eats them. Good video -mixed things, worth doing again. Malc & Ann UK xxx

Pigeons have all the social pairings that we do. It could possibly be a pair of two males. Or it could be a pair that the hen just doesn’t lay. I had an archangel hen that never produced eggs even though she would build a HUGE nest with her mate. Egyptian Swifts are awesome. The Indian Fantail is cool too. I want to get some Hubble’s for squab raising.
