Ok, so number 1: when you say people are repetitive about build mode videos, just to let you know, I’ve seen HUNDREDS of these videos about trashing build mode. You are no different. 2: if you ain’t got nothing good to say, just don’t say it. I’m not trying to hate, but build mode has so much potential that people just don’t see, because they are just hungry for more content. If minitoons quits piggy, I wouldn’t blame him, because these 9 year olds just want more content, and when they GET content, they TRASH on the content. Do better y’all.

Basics are basics, but these more than "basics" map is totally more better. It shows how hard you've worked on the map, you get the best feeling when people appreciate your hard work. Instead of some maps made out of toilets (pun), you get to show what the community could do. But, my final message is that I don't think most piggy BM community would even try to use modern things.

Yo, uh, I recently quit build mode, here is why, when I make a map, and complete it, it kinda looks bad, I don't even understand offsets that much, so I hate myself for it, that's the main reason, and I think some others might feel this way too..Or is it just me Edit: And I think this video inspired be to continue making build mode maps..in my own style now.

I made a build mode map together with my friend we were so happy and having so much fun making it and finding out new offsets , slowly.... slowly.. my friend started to get bored and i tried to force myself to finish the map and i also force him but i also got bored the only thing that motivates me are the good quality screenshots. And now its kinda discontinued the map and me and my friend is just waiting for my other friend to make the audio for it.

Most build mode maps are just.. lackluster.. to say the least. LOTS of new builders build very basic maps, and they publish the map. They don't use advices that good builders give, and (in my experience) most of them just kick you out. Sure, they might be confused on offsets, and links, but if they take some time out of their day to look at videos about offsets, then they'll learn. There's also multiple maps that are: Roleplay maps, Piggy says, Fnaf (the fnaf maps have been appearing less and less), piggy dice, and doors (this is pretty new) The problem with build mode is that builders lose creativity, and/or don't take criticism or advice. (They would rather learn on their own.) Sure, there are plenty of map idea videos, but most of them are either: Too lackluster, outdated, or just boring. In conclusion, builders aren't being creative with their maps, and new builders hate taking criticism. (I'm sorry for yapping, I just wanted to share my opinion)

Building in Piggy Build Mode is a rewarding experience for me, especially when my skills pay off with something cool or when I find a new perspective on map design. But planning the layout-where doors go, making it logical and scary, and deciding on the flow-is exhausting! I’m almost working like an architect, trying to mix logical structure with horror. While researching codes and ciphers for my maps is fun, the actual layout planning drains me. To handle it, I’m starting to draw my layouts, even though it feels like a lot to manage. and i appriciated your opinion, its something kinda boring and exhausting for me tho (sorry for yapping to much)

I definitely agree, the support i get is from my custom NPC realistic figure video and it looks to much like doors that it looks unusual in piggy. People asked me to make more realistic and more detailed characters that they could use. And for my seek custom NPC i tried to make it look a little more like piggy.

Alright, I got some rebuttals. On the topic of series, having many series is fine because everyone's series is different. Different maps, different plots, and different characters. Netflix would be incredibly boring if there was only 1 TV show. There is a series for everyone. On offsets, a "good" map can vary. However, maps that contain offsets are typically better. There's nothing wrong with maps advancing. The skill floor of build mode has increased, so you would have to put more work in to create a good map. I personally don't like diversion due to the lack of detailing and originality overall and how he (no offense) milked that map in 8 streams. On the topic of trick videos and news, I got tired of making tricks, and have moved to video essays, teaching you how to become better at build mode while entertaining at the same time. Tricks were fine early on, but when we started discovering more, we learned that most new trick videos are reiterating old tricks or some lame wall design. With news, I do agree that they make the community worse, with everyone milking and spreading misinformation. Overall, good points but some are flawed. A better title for this video would be "The Problem with the Build Mode Community" as this doesn't really prove how build mode as a game is "boring". Have a good one!

I kinda quit piggy build mode got so boring and dry and playing piggy normally is just not as fun and not try to hate but the decay chapter is so boring I’m not even gonna beat it at this point and I agree wish sharkjaws almost everybody thinks that the maps with no offsets and links are bad and the amount have hate is crazy and I feel bad for Minitoon the drama and our community has gotten worse.

its great to see someone point out the flaws from piggy me myself think that build mode is fun and great,but links itself welp you dont really need those and you can make your maps very immersive and with the simple lights and event and blocks and decor you can already build a bunch of epic maps. but i do agree that piggy these days are kinda boring now, but i dont think its a reason for you to just leave the game completely just because of non frequent updates or chapters or any of that i think without the bonnet skin the game would still be amazing and judging by the community just hating on the new decaying infected skin atleast be greatfull we even got a skin or it would have been just a dumb badge (ofc other piggy creators talk about this). And we should be thankful that minitoon still works on piggy, either way i dont see myself quiting piggy anytime soon i still play frequently time to time.😅 (And ofc other people in the comments are also basing off these few topics).

The thing with build mode Is that if you make a map that isnt doors,piggy says and other maps, then you get no players. I made a normal map The problem is, most of the pro players have almost left to the point where you have only new players left. Meaning if you make a map that is really difficult and more for experienced players. Well your not going to get players. The max i got was 5 people Its just saddening

Before I learnt offsets I made a map that I thought was really good then some guy joined and said "Bros never used offsets in his life" and I said why does it matter and he said "cuz my maps are better and your sucks cuz there’s no detail" so I learnt offsets and now’s my maps are better then ever I support people that don’t know offsets and try there best on maps but I still get mad at people that makes like a baseplate with like 2 buildings that are just one material or rating your skins and gets like 50 players but people that put time and effort into there maps even if there is no offsets I respect

I'll just say that if you want Piggy to continue after almost five years, the same as it was in 2020? Not improve? The thing is, you can't stay stuck in the same thing you're doing, Piggy is not going to end because there are still too many gaps to fill and improve and more questions than asnwers, and the game itself has to evolve to be better, it has to have better skins, better map designs, a better interface and story above all. So I answer your question, "What is Minitoon going to do next?" He need to going to have to improve and evolve so that it doesn't stay the same as four years ago, because I assure you that it would be even more boring than you already think if Piggy had hardly changed at all. That's what I think, Piggy still maintains that Piggy aesthetic, but simply improved to not only look more polished and improve the game, but also to be better, Piggy has always received criticism for having ugly designs, basic maps, a story with errors, etc. Well, then that has to improve and they never really went beyond the Piggy aesthetic, they just evolved because they have to adapt. That's what I think. It's not over at all, maybe build mode a bit, but not the main game neither the franchise in general. And as I say, Piggy has to evolve and improve, but honestly they never strayed from this aesthetic as so many insist on saying, no, it just improved and that's it, and it's not going to end soon because there are errors to correct, especially in the lore. (No offense at all).

I see where you’re coming from with the Build Mode section, but the Main Game section was not agreeable. First off. You wanna know why it doesn’t feel quote on quote “Piggy-y”? It’s because, this may come as a shocker, but it’s because it’s not something we’ve seen in Piggy before. Actually that’s a lie, because we have seen it in Piggy before. Look at TIO. If you had only played a little bit of Piggy and someone showed you that skin and told you it was from Piggy, you’d think they’re nuts. Also, no. Blatt would look absolutely horrible with the default boy body. Like I’m sorry but it’s just the truth. And as for the stuff about Decay, The main reason the lobby for it exists is because it needed to have a lobby in order to be in the event in the first place. Tell me, would you like to see a massive avatar button on the side of your screen while you beat up that worthless wolf? No! Roblox decided to make the whole event just be a costume contest and nothing more, it’s not really Piggy’s fault. They just had to go along with Roblox’s orders. Not to mention that the chapter’s more linear, time limitless style would not work well otherwise. Decaying Infected is a good skin. You’re looking at it as if we’ve never seen Piggy in R15 before, when that is not true. Piggy Intercity is completely R15 and there are some R15 skins in the game. In fact one of them is Fergus, a skin contest skin, and another one of them is Mr. P, you know, a character that has been around since the near beginning of Piggy?

ok ok, chill pal, I understand where ur coming from HOWEVER here is a more in depth way of seeing it - R15 have buggy hitboxes, end of story - yes, tio was not mentioned, my bad, so ill say it here. TIO is a amazing skin however has downfalls such as it being huge and the jumpscare taking a wooping 6 seconds, leading to a piggy disadvantage, love the skin but it has its problems - yes, blatt might not look as good I get minitoon and the team have gotten better but the skins dont look like piggy skins at all, would u like minitoon to go through all the skins make em r15? But I have to say that I never said I wanted everyone to be R15, in fact I don’t want that in the slightest. As for Mr. P, how do we know that’s what the issue was? Like how do we know that R15 was the problem? I’m not saying that it isn’t a possibility, but do remember that Silzous is R15, and he works just fine. Although he did come out not long before Mr. P was fixed. As for Blatt, I understand that it doesn’t really look like a Piggy character, but I mean, is that necessarily a problem? I wouldn’t say so. Just because the game is straying away from its roots, doesn’t mean that it’s an issue. And also you probably could have said your idea for a Classic Styled Blatt better. I get it’s sorta my fault for not considering that, but let me tell you, Clarification is key. One time I commented a joke comment saying I owned something I didn’t actually own and because of it this one guy would not get off of my back for like a week just because I didn’t clarify I was joking even though I literally did clarify it after he started commenting to me. Now this is sorta unrelated, but I want to share an opinion about Piggy most people are going to hate… Mr. P was a poorly executed character in my opinion. First off, he shouldn’t have been a potato in the first place, because he’s just adds even more confusion to what the diet of the Piggy characters are. Secondly. His story is decent, but probably could’ve been done a lot more tastefully. Like you’d think we’d discover something about him by now but nope. After Book 1, he’s just completely irrelevant.

@@SnowballDev thank you for apologising, I agree on the Mr p thing at the end, Mr p was bugged with the r15 thing I believe and that had no longer been an issue bec I mean Mr p was the first R15 skin lol. Never said that any of this was a issue its just sad for me to see the skins lose that classicness of a piggy skin but hey what can we do! Thank you for sharing ur opinion man! appreciate it!

this is way I've started to get into games like obby creator. It is a better version of piggy build mode where you can actually explore your creativity to it's fullest. Obviously no hate to Minitoon or any of the people who worked on piggy build mode, tho

I personally said I would be a piggy news KZbinr, but ended up not being one. And my series I came so far with building everything and to be honest even if I did have an idea for a map it probably be bad, but the series is only thing I can live off of because it can follow a unique story it’s not the same story all the time. And with series now you can introduce new characters like I did in Jaws 5??? With Addynkeys and Alastor, but trust me the main antagonist is more better than these 2.
