The big mushroom is Michael Harding's Burnt Sienna and the little mushroom is Daniel Smith's Quinacridone Burnt Orange. Find them here on Blick's Artist Materials: www.dpbolvw.net/click-100442257-15734209

I was sad when I heard that news, kind of late, just early this year. I bought two pans of Roman Szmal quinacridrone Burnt sienna, & two tubes of quinancridrone Rust from M. Graham tubes. The Daniel Smith paints look great too. I do have some DS paints. I was looking at cost when buying. I know M. Graham are pricy, but I was really intrigued by their Q.Rust. The RS paints were on sale at Jackson’s. (PO 48) I think, like you said, having a supply that lasts my lifetime. I am a Roman Szmal fan girl. But I have lots of other brands too. A while back, I tested out my own mixes to make burnt orange/rust. I was quite pleased with some of the recipes. I appreciate your video showing us what is still available. I do like the colour of the DS stick paint the most, that you showed here, solid, no separation of pigment. I’ve not purchased any sticks, but it looks like a good value for money.

@@rachelgetsitright632 yes! I like the sticks really well! I was iffy about them at first because I was trying to draw with them and then wet them and was getting frustrated 😩 but cutting them up or breaking them and putting them in a pan or tossing a few in a pencil case for plein air is great! I may get that M. Graham Q. Rust. Thanks for the tip!
