People have been requesting a change of paces or whatever it's called, so how about the most exciting fishing of them all? Farm pond bass fishing. Just kidding, it's not that exciting, but mixing things up is something I need to do more. Especially when you can catch them out of a TINY HIDDEN CREEK DITCH THING. PAAAA POWWW!!!

People totally underestimate the bite in farm ponds!!! I have one that's probably the same size as what you are on and there has been two times when I caught 40+ in one hour!!!!! Of course no one believes that until I bring them there to witness for themselves. The last time I brought a friend there, the bite was so good we ended up fishing into the pitch black night, that's when an almost 13 pound BEAST tried to snatch my Rooster tail!! Needless to say, he believes everything I tell him about the place now!!!!

Love fishing those farm ponds, some of my biggest Michigan large mouths came from ponds. I fish lake saint claire on a regular basis and the average is 3lb with a 4 or 5 pounder mixed in. I've seen 7 and 9 pound fish come from ponds. Huge for Michigan.
