U.G. is one of the few that whenever he speaks, he speaks from nowhere. In other words, it's like he is saying things that is just pointing out from no personal biases. In his book, Mind is a Myth, there is a chapter in there when he goes into brief details of how he never gets annoyed of repeating the same crap, over and over. Yet the people that come and visit, just to speak with him; they, themselves get tired after a while of asking them same questions to U.G., while U.G. just sits there neutral, chuckling, smiling until the talk is over. It reminds me of the saying from Lao Tzu “Thoughts weaken the mind. Desires wither the heart.”

also, i just read that UG started to take it easy in a sense the last 10 years of his life when this discussion took place. He stopped being the "raging sage" apparently & instead preferred to hang out with friends in the living room & laugh & joke around mostly. His life became playful & full of laughter. They laughed at all the sacred cows of mankind: heroes, lovers, saints, politicians, God, including at themselves & at UG. It's all good, fun, laugh at all the bullshit right in its face.

Of course, as I read all the different books & transcripts of his recorded conversations & videos of him over the decades, I noticed this change in his life & discourse.

Interesting. Thamks for uploading this video Nick. Finally we have a person who could make UG shut up and listen. And Yes. Thymus gland reactivation is, I think, the way out, especially now that "Codex Alimentarius" (48 minute) has made the getting of nutrient supplementation -- to keep us (mentally) healthy -- so very difficult. UG used to say that he didn't know what he had done to land into the Natural State and so, could not help others to attain that state. But that does not mean that the path leading to the Natural state does not exist. It does exist Be Happy!!

The real problem is not that they want to see changes in them. The real problem is that people want others to change. Change is a natural phenomenon. Everything in this world, living or non living is undergoing changes all the time. It would be a far better world if people stop imposing their ideologies on others.
@ferdinandalexander80539 жыл бұрын
Chiranjeev Saini That's another ideology.
@uniquebunnie3339 жыл бұрын
Ferdinand Alexander You're right sir. There was a time when people believed that earth is a square. One scientist argued that it should be spherical in shape. However it was against the bible or the ideology of Christians. So the Scientist was warned to take back his words without listening to him logically. The same thing occurred when someone argued that it's the Sun which is the Center of the solar system and not that the Earth is the center of universe. Look one can have any ideology or no ideology as long one doesn't want to impose it on others. If you tomorrow go ahead and say that molecular formula of water is H4O, I assure you no scientist would visit your place to harm you. The place has because unsafe as people want to impose their ideologies on others.
@ferdinandalexander80539 жыл бұрын
Chiranjeev Saini We really don't know anything. We only know within a limited thought context where all the knowledge, thoughts and experiences of mankind are there to choose from. We label something with a word and pass that along as knowledge. Humans are far to arrogant to admit that they really know nothing and everything they "think" they know came from another source. There's no individual there with any freedom of action. It's all a mess of words, knowledge, semantics and conditioning and perhaps even DNA.
@uniquebunnie3339 жыл бұрын
Ferdinand Alexander I second you on that.
@uniquebunnie3339 жыл бұрын
Ferdinand Alexander I don't know in which context you talked about knowledge however the very realization that we don't know much comes from the little knowledge we posess. A fool would always claim to know much in comparison to a wise person. I don't think it's a good idea to paint everyone with the same brush. Einstein was never arrogant about the little knowledge he possessed. In fact he conceded to the fact that we all know very less. Most of the human beings have always tried to understand the world in which we find ourselves. We have tried approach this question by many ways. One way was faith and the other was that of being skeptical. Admitting the fact that we don't know and trying to find out via observations and theories has taken us all a long way from where we started. The people who have know a little via scientific methods have mostly approached with humility in comparison to people who believed faith is more important. How do you say " There's no individual there with any freedom of action "? Is this your assumption? How did you arrive at this conclusion?

Anoop kumar Yes, I agree! UG was just fine here. That's why he told this gentleman he could stay for another 30 minutes & talk to him if he wanted to. If anyone in any other conversation with UG had wanted to strain so badly & talk so loudly to not be interrupted or spoken over by UG, then UG would have let them go on, too. If UG had wanted to he could have at any time interrupted & told the Rabbi to shut up & get lost & that would have been the end of this discussion. UG also could have been insensitive & hurtful & told him that no one cares what he thinks, that he's wasting his time & everyone else's by writing this book. That it will do no real good for himself nor others & that UG himself doesn't want to hear about it. UG knew that saying this kind of thing would serve no purpose but to have hurt the Rabbi's feelings. UG, after the calamity, was never malicious or rude or disrespectful or personally offensive to any person. The videos we see of UG when he was strident, loud, outrageous, intense, or whatever, were always in response to the particular situation; the particular people in the room & their questions & the emotions or energy or attitudes they were bringing to him.

YoungBoyzINC You don't need to, not at all. From the best that I am able to interpret of UG's words, after the "calamity", UG was living the fact that there is no "self" to defend, no separate entity or structure there that is different or separate from this Rabbi or anyone & anything really. And UG is just like a tape recorder, a computer or machine; the Rabbi's words are happening as if inside UG, as if UG is just an echo chamber. UG had nothing to prove with this gentleman or anyone ever. UG was not trying to win any argument or defeat or persuade anyone, he wasn't trying to talk over or overwhelm everyone all the time or have the last word. Each situation is different. This situation dictated a certain kind of response and behavior from UG, that's all.
