Really you just need a limit on how many buildings you can team kill in a certain amount of time. 1 every 5 minutes perhaps, to allow for specific situations. Or just allow a timed 'detonate' ability on buildings in team games. Or you could just switch to ZEROSPACE.... never mind.

Had a similar experience back in 2016. I played 3 2v2 matches against a guy in a row and won them all. On the fourth I was paired with him and he started bitching that I was walling us both against rushes with Barracks + Depo. When I pointed out that I beat him 3 times in a row, he got so pissy he pulled his probes to kill my SCVs. I commented that this was the only way he could me to lose a match he was in before leaving. I wish Salt Mines were a thing back then. I would have loved to share the replay.

I played team games for the first time as an M3 player. Silver teammate immediately criticizing my wall, spamming me, asking why I built a “quick expand” (normal expand timing of course) - just awful to deal with. As soon as you get into plat/diamond those people pretty much stop.

This is typically my strategy. I always probe around aimlessly just above the main base to tickle the expansion. Then i rush straight thru the gash. Inevitably creating a zergling flood, leading, quite rapidly, into infesters 😉

I'm plat and play lots of team games in sc2, most gamers are actually pretty even tempered however I have had the distinct displeasure of playing with TropicalFruit several times. This display is typical for him. Now I kinda like having friendly fire on (for realism, not trolling), what I would like is the option not to queue with players you have on your block list.

Actually this is closest to behavior of For Honor players in 2v2, each guy of the same team 1v1 one of the other and then the winner proceeds to 1v1 final, while actually the 2v2 is meant to be a team fight

I had my teammate in Co-op destroy my base bc I set up defenses on both lanes of Oblivion Express. Like, dude, the trains alternate routes, there's no reason for me to sit out half the map when we can be supporting each other.

TrpicalFruit is that type of player who's the epitome of "touch grass" gamers. So devoid of what's really happening and thinking they're better when in actually, they've done nothing and got carried. These are the kind of guys that talk a lot but only play team matches because they get to talk down to their teammate since they're stuck in bronze league in solo queue. Truly insufferable. The fact that Vegas did extremely well against both toss and also helped defend all the attack they threw at the zerg is nothing short of great gameplay. Only to be drowned out by an ignorant teammate. Great that this player is also getting called out. Hope they get actually griefed like how they accused Vegas of.

@PiGstarcraft Just saw the latest patch dropped and I was reading through it and I had a random balance thought for the new Cyclone. What if target lock could be maintained even if enemy unit cloaked/burrowed and possibly the target lock actually revealed the cloaked/burrowed unit? Would give some utility to Cyclones being able to track cloaked/burrowed units in those situations that the unit cloaks/burrows outside detection range/scan expires etc. I really loved this video btw, should definitely cast some more team salt mines!

@pig You should be able to kill your allies units and buildings the same way you can kill your own units and buildings. I mean, if your ally has a pylon blocking a hatch spot or a building needs to be destroy to open a wall in. There are many reasons. If your ally is going to kill you, they can do it passively just as easily as directly killing you. Pylon the crap out of your minerals, block in your units.

Sometimes you can kill your griefing ally and still win. But if they can just build structures to permanently wall you off without air transports, or spread creep all over your terran/protoss base, then being unable to kill your ally's buildings and units would be just as restrictive on fun and common sense as being able to kill them.

You can view all the stats after a game. There's the overall score a units killed built and lost you can also view graphs for army value active workers and income rates and you can see the build order of any two players. And further you can look at the replay to see everything that happened.

2vs2 is the worst for that, people who are too afraid to 1vs1 play it and take it really seriously. They take full complete credit for any wins, and blame any losses on their team mate. 3vs3 and 4vs4 are better for random teams because fewer people take it seriously. I always tell the team mates who are raging at me/another team mate they should go play 1vs1, because they must surely be so good when not held back by team mates they will be in GM in no time at all.
