It just occurred to me how Steve could have survived Galeem’s attack at the beginning of World of Light. By escaping through the nether.

Things can technically also go through the portal, so the light beam could also go through it... maybe

@@Guitarhero_02.21 That’s kinda tricky, because you could also say that the light beam will destroy the nether portal before too much light makes it in. And even if it does, the portal can have as small as a 2x3 block entrance. That’s not a very big hole for light to flood in, either from the first beams or even the big super nova attack at the very end. That being said, if you believe that the nether is actually just located deep underground, or even just on a different planet, instead of being a separate dimension/plane of existence. Then that means the flood of light will engulf it all just shortly after Kirby escaped.
