I'm getting 15 upward while stationary on the z axis. I know gravity isnt that much, what am i doing wrong?

Hi is it possible to work this with likr an alert system? If a specific axis reach a specific point, can i add like a sound that will alert with a sound? Sorry for the noob question just getting back in school, stopped in pandemic.

I wonder if I could use one of these to detect an imbalance on a motor shaft or crankshaft ? I suppose it would depend on how fast the refresh rate is and whether I could programme the pico to detect a peak value and trigger a strobe at that peak - looks like another project just got added to the list 🤣
