It's part of Hololives fan game initiative, it gets officially sponsored by Hololive, the talents can play on stream, and the Dev can put it on steam, unfortunately that means nobody from outside Hololive can be in it because of the copyrights.

Won't happen either way as the game is using these characters who are heavily copyrighted all because there's an agreement to not profit off it and no "harmful changes or depictions" will be made. Mods with the official base game introduces an aspect which JP companies will not appreciate (the so called "bad publicity, defamation, harmful content or so on) as result of which it's not getting official mod support

Doesn't seem unbalanced, if anything she's underpowered, Her passives are a particularly good Main Skill, and two synergistic skills with minor buffs that work as decent but not impressive skill when together, a pretty common formula for many characters, but they're usually the specialist characters, like Korone becoming a berserker with healing and a very high damage ratio and knockback from several attacks in a relatively small area Pippa's stats appear to be suited for an all rounder, Half of her main weapon is an aimed attack in one area, some of her skill seems like it's good for AOE, upgrades add Pierce, and she even gets tanking stats and her skills and ult don't seem to be any different, she could be built around just about anything but she'd do all of it worse than any other character that can do it, cannot think of any niche she could fill off watching it at the very least

Hololive is massive. From JP Gen 0 (zero), to Gen 6, plus GAMERS group. DEV_IS (new branch). English Gen 1 to 3. Indonesia Gen 1 to 3. There’s also Holostars, the male side. Hololive China, now disbanded. Yeah, there are a lot.

@@Mousse9 holy shit, that's slightly complicated. I can understand that there's a Indonesian, English, and Japanese hololive right? There's the generation 1 which are the first group of people to join that specific branch and anyone that joins on a later date is a new generation?

@@Oldmeme592 Okay, I’ll try to explain. JP Gen 0 are those are not from any one group. They joined independently. Sora, the very first Hololive idol, debuted alone and is in this group. Basically a catch all group. After, Hololive decided to create “generations”, vtubers who debut together and are part of the same group. That is a “Gen”. Gamers was a project by Hololive that focused on videogames, but that moniker is basically meaningless as all the Gens do much the same. DEV _IS (pronounced “device”) is a new JP branch, separate from the other JP Gens, I think focusing more on singing? (Not really sure…) English Gen 1 to 3 is easy to understand, same goes for Indonesia Gen 1 to 3. (IRyS used to be in a separate English group called Project: HOPE that focused on purely singing, but like with Gamers, that didn’t apply anymore, now she’s part of EN Gen 2.) Holostars are exclusively male vtubers, with their own Gens, and a JP and EN side. Hololive China is, as I said, disbanded after some controversy with China. Each Gen normally has 5 members, except Indonesia, which has 3.

Kay Yu's basically said that support for mods won't be added, because that'd involve lots of extra work, but as long as you don't, say, build using a leaked release of the upcoming version not much would be said if somebody does make a character mod.
