Having fished multiple s in different sizes and colors, kzbin.infoUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 this is by far my favorite. One thing to be aware of is the sided willow blade. One side is silver and the other is the green/orange shown. This is not bad, just unconventional. In terms of fishing, I have found the lure works just fine without a tail like a craw or shad. That addition is up to you. Also, the hook part where you attach the swivel snap or tie the line is a problem on baits these days, since it's able to slide up and down. However this lure seems to be tight enough that that doesn't happen often, and you can solve it by putting a thin slice of medical tube over the hook before attaching the line. Like others have said, it's really magic on a good windy day.

I can't thank you enough for the care you show the pike it boils my blood when I catch a pike and have to remove someone else's mess from the deep hooks just cut off rather than treat the fish with love care and respect and don't have the respect to remove the hooks from the fish that give them the pleasure of catching them puzzles me 🤷🏼♂️ again top job Dom 💯 👌

Doesn't always mean bad angling, or maybe it got cut off on something in the water. Just saying, we all suffer cut offs due to snags and things. Fair play for taking them out but it's not always intentional
@NobleKorhedron3 жыл бұрын
@@garyhall4542: Agreed. I had to kill a fish for the first time due to deep hooking, and I can tell you it's nothing to write home about... 😭 Sadly, this particular fish was one I would've normally returned, but he had completely engulfed the micro paddle-tail jig, and I couldn't figure out how to unhook him.
@mat80093 жыл бұрын
@@NobleKorhedron same thing happens alot to me with big perch and using smaller lures, they usually engulf it very far down and it's very hard to unhook them safely

Got myself a folding landing net, as seen on your channel, through Amazon. Delivered today just before lunch. I like it, gotta use it. Passed the first test, Mother liked it, or the idea of how it functions. Telescopic handle with collapsible net frame. 😳🤣🎣🐟😂🇦🇺

Nice one Dan, great to see you help sort that pike. Pretty crap of who ever caught it previously though, looked pretty rough mate! Was that person at the beginning talking to you? “All right there” 😂😂 I’ve recently enjoyed playing with small spinners, something I rarely do and like you’ve said it’s great fun 👍

Great Vid. Enjoy them all. Just the one question, I've never fished from a kayak, is it easy to stand on a kayak and fish safely, comfortably, practically, and enjoyably?
@gru6y172 жыл бұрын
You've probably figured it out by now but depends on the kayak, some fishing kayaks have stabilisers and are designed to stand on

Warm weather, warm ground. No pliers, no unhooking mat. Then dont go fishing... if you got grass and a net you can get away without unhooking mat, if not lift pike out safe, unhook and drop it back. Dont put it on the warm dry ground 🤬
