Pike Place Market proposal seeks to make improvements, boost foot traffic near Waterfront Park

I work in tourism marketing and years before I ever thought I'd live in Seattle we would come here on site visits and the convention center was half the size it is now and downtown was at his peak not that walkable but Pike Place was the #1 tourism draw and should be cherished. Going car free would be just be following all of the major tourist destinations on the planet that realize getting out of a motorized vehicle is what people want.

Pike Place is wonderful but it is in a dangerous place and tourists have no idea!
