The animation seems a lot more fluid in this episode than it normally is. Did you replace Animate with a new type of software or are just using new animation techniques?

It's still Animate, just some new techniques. For example, Pike's walk cycle was actually animated in Blender and rendered as a freestyle SVG, so technically it's 3D.
