@ExtremeOutdoorsmen20 күн бұрын
Yeah spearing pike is definitely some of the best times! My dad and I really enjoy spearing together and capturing it all on video! Thanks so much for watching and supporting. What is your biggest pike you’ve speared 🙌🏼
@outdorland102319 күн бұрын
Biggest pike I've speared was only 30", but I enjoy harvesting the 24-30". Pike can be an overlooked meat because of the bones, but it's one of my favorites. I did land a 37" last weekend on 2# test and a wax worm, great fight and let it go to grow. Glad we have some decent ice this season too, been a rough couple years in a row. Good luck out there and stay safe

Nice video. I am trying to figure out why you hold the pike down in the water kicking up all that silt after spearing it. I stick them and get them out of the water fast as possible.
@ExtremeOutdoorsmen19 күн бұрын
Thanks for watching man, I really appreciate that! And yeah I should probably pull them up faster. You’re right about that, that’s one thing I need to get better at. Because it was muddying up the water 🙌🏼 appreciate the support! Are you from Michigan?
