Imagine if that enemy was supposed to destroy the plants that grow berrys on them. I would imagine that they planned to restrict how many berrys a player could get like in Pikmin 2 where the plants that were mostly in the same place were overgrown by that grey thingy.

The Mog seems to be a whiskapillar of sorts (I actually forgot the name for a few minutes, been a while) and obviously was made during the early versions of the game. the Kak I think is a completely new enemy! it seems to have been made later on but then was left out of the game nowadays for unknown reasons. I can tell because the textures were not as good as everything else. oddly enough both have animations for almost all of their behaviors!

You do realise that those are prescription glasses, which are needed to see. The glass in the helmet can't help her see things *clearly* if she didn't have her glasses, things would be blurry in her vision.
