Pikmin 4 - Olimar's Shipwreck Tale: Good Ending

So this is the "good ending" of Olimar"s Shipwreck Tale, you get it if you collect all 30 ship parts within 15 days. I liked this side story a lot, quite similar to Pikmin 1 of course. A bit of a shame that the devs did not replicate all the parts from the first game and that many parts are duplicates though.

Loved how it was almost a full remake for Pikmin 1. Music and all, just incredible.

Yeah it's crazy how 1:1 the bad ending of Pikmin 1 is with the Bad Ending of shipwreck tale, with the good ending changing a couple things to make 100%ing it more satisfying.

@pangorcrmusic5852 Yeah imo Nintendo just knocked it out of the park with this. I am so appreciative they took the time to do this. They could have treated it like a throwaway mode but they took the time to make it FEEL like Pikmin 1. Truly incredible..

Too bad, I am not that great at Dandori and got the bad ending first, and having played Pikmin 3 deluxe as my first pikmin game, I wasn't expecting this side mode.

Well this could go one of two ways. Pikmin 4 might be a retelling of the events that take place after Pikmin 1, and Shipwreck Tale may just be a retelling of Pikmin 1, which would be backed up by the fact that you can only use the first three Pikmin and the ending is basically 1:1 the bad ending from Pikmin 1. But at the same time, Olimar's main motivation in Pikmin 2 is to make enough money to buy his ship back, so this could still easily take place after 3.

Actually in one of Olimar Logs says that he just have a nightmare in which his company goes in bankruptcy (implying never happened) and in one of Louie Log says he really wants to try the golden pikpik carrot (Louie Dark Secret) so I guess is an alternative story following an alternative Pikmin 1
