This song is an example of why Pikmin 1 had by far the best atmosphere of the series. You felt so isolated. Unlike 2 and 3, where you know what to expect and willingly go to the planet, in Pikmin 1 you're all alone on a terrifying world you know nothing about, with only 30 days to survive, and you don't even know if you'll be able to get off the planet or ever see your family again. The atmosphere of this game captured the essence of melancholy and isolation perfectly.

Pikmin 2 is my favorite as well. Pikmin 2 is the best for gameplay, Pikmin 1 is the best in atmosphere, and Pikmin 3 is best in graphics. All three of them are incredible in more ways than just these, of course. =)

Whenever I listen to this music while watching all the different creatures, it just reminds me of how beautiful this game really is. Things like the Bulbears (Dwarf and spotty), Water Dumples, Yellow Wollywogs and the rest seem more than just enemies. They almost feel like real life creatures, especially with the Piklopedia which further details these creatures.

I love this game. It's one of my all time favorites. I got this game when I was just a young boy. Like 7 years old. I got it for Christmas in 2001. I am 22 years old know. I remember this game as if it were yesterday. The Distant Spring was my territory. Very watery. Green. And my god this territory had so much different calamity. It would take a few days to scout it out and kill the board of enemies. One creature that I adored as a kid were those beautifully colored Puffy Blowhogs! My mom and dad would watch me play and we always enjoyed seeing those creatures. Pretty colors on them. The Armored Cannon Beetle was really cool too. You saw only 2 of those. Forest Of Hope and The Distant Spring. Man...my childhood was fun. But that kid in me stills goes back and I play this game. The Atmosphere of this game was radical! I play it, 'Okay 30 days!' 'It's all good I mastered this game I can get more pieces in a day know!' *Gets 3 pieces in day, 27 days left: 'Fuck I am running outta time!*

What I was thinking is that, as an assist trophy, it would randomly fly around upon summoning. Then, just as randomly, it would snatch up any opponent it can get (up to two) then fly around some more (you can escape by mashing buttons). Then, once it's above a spot of ground, it would plant its victims in the ground like Swooping bug does.
